Gold Tree is a resident-owned 55+ community of 295 homes. Our community was purchased by the residents in 1999, forming a Co-Op.

There are no more vacant lots available, so we can only accommodate re-sales.

The cost of the share is $42,500, and there are currently shares available for sale. Over 80% of residents own the share with their home.

Small pets are allowed with a weight restriction.

The monthly fee is $262.00 (effective 1/1/23) for shareholders and $637.00 (effective 1/1/23) for non-shareholders

This amount includes basic cable TV and internet with Spectrum, water & sewer, lake water irrigation, trash pickup twice a week, lawn mowing, and upkeep & insurance of all amenities for you and your guests to enjoy.

Amenities include our gorgeous heated pool and deck area, hot tub, 3 tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, horseshoe pits, library, billiard room, big screen TV in lounge area, fitness center, 15,000 sq. ft. clubhouse, etc.

We have a full-time maintenance staff and management office onsite.

This is a great place to live, in a fabulous location; a rural setting hidden from the main road, but still close to shopping. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, in addition to movie theaters and the public library. We are just 30 minutes from beaches, 15 minutes from Sarasota, and 10 minutes to I-75. Approximately 30% of residents are snowbirds. We do lots of pool time, biking, walking, playing cards and golf, as 10 golf courses are within 5 miles.

Office Hours are Monday-Friday, 9am - 4pm and is closed from 1 - 1:30pm for lunch each day
